News Alert: Public companies would be required to disclose greenhouse emissions and climate risks under a landmark SEC proposal

The proposed rule from the Securities and Exchange Commission, released Monday, would mandate for the first time that hundreds of businesses report their planet-warming emissions in a standardized way.
